Dining Services Manager

Basic Job Description:

  • Develops, implements, and monitors the service standards for a quality dining experience
  • Manages, coordinates, and schedules dining services staff
  • Collaborates with department managers, supervisors, and staff members to address and meet the residents’ needs and concerns in regards to food in a timely fashion
  • Supervises 30+ staff, interviews, hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates employees

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior Senior Living experience highly desired
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency using Point of Sale (POS) systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

 

Job Type: Full Time position (40 hrs per week), working various days and shifts as scheduled
