Bob Sigall Reflects on Jack Cione’s Final Follies

Reflecting on the performance, Bob Sigall, in Rearview Mirror Insider 544, remarked, "Thursday night I went to see Jack Cione’s final follies at Arcadia. Copacabana was fabulous, with Arcadia residents up to 94 years of age in starring roles. The costumes and set were stunning." The show was a mix of fun and patriotic numbers, with a standout tap-dancing scene that stole the spotlight. While the singers lip-synched, it only added to the charm of the overall performance. Sigall added, "Some numbers were naughty, and some were patriotic. My hat’s off to Jack and the Arcadia impresarios for a fabulous finale." The event marked the end of an era, as Cione’s 17-year legacy at Arcadia came to a close with this remarkable and memorable show.

Sunset Photo

Arcadia resident Mr. Michael Jones entered his apartment after dinner and took this photo at sunset. Mr. Jones shared, “I took these photos from my lanai, capturing a curious bright spot on a building with prominent glass windows. This spot appears above a white tower in the foreground, likely part of the Mormon temple on Beretania Street.” The contrast between the bright spot and the architectural features makes for a striking image.
