Student Christmas Cards

Arcadia Family of Companies residents, clients, and members received handmade Christmas cards! The cards were donated by the Member Services staff at United Healthcare and Chloe Nie from Roosevelt High School (RHS). Chloe, a National Honor Society member at RHS, partnered with a few elementary schools including Lanakila, Kauluwela, and Nuuanu to create special Christmas cards — some were even written in different languages. Everyone had so much fun creating these lovely gifts for our kupuna. Thank you to United Healthcare, Chloe Nie, and all of the students who took the time to bring joy to others this holiday season!

Santa Claus Came to Town

The Health Care Center at 15 Craigside had a great time at their Christmas party! Residents and employees gathered together to spread Christmas cheer and enjoy each other’s company. Santa (aka Ted Cuizon, Environmental Services Supervisor) delivered presents and took photos with all of the residents.

Monstera Blossom

A beautiful monstera inflorescence has blossomed in Arcadia’s Garden. The monstera inflorescence is composed of two main structures. The spadix is the cylindrical shape in the middle and the spathe is the white bract behind it.

Honolulu City Lights

15 Craigside residents took a ride to see the beautiful Honolulu City Lights. Everyone loved the festive decorations, Christmas music, and flashing lights. What a great adventure to spread the holiday cheer!

The Terns have Returned

White fairy terns have returned to Arcadia resident, Ms. Bobbie Aisaka’s lanai! The population of white fairy terns on Oahu expands over 2,300 today.

Balloon Paddle

15 Craigside Health Care Center residents played a fun game of balloon paddle while wearing Eversound headphones to listen to Christmas music!

Christmas Spirit Week

To celebrate the holidays, the Arcadia Family of Companies had a family-wide spirit week! Residents, clients, members, and employees had a great time showing off their best Christmas attire throughout the week!

Les and Glenn Performance

Les and Glenn returned to the Arcadia Adult Day Care at Central Union Church for a holiday performance. They performed classic Christmas songs while incorporating their own unique twist. The clients were overjoyed by the amazing entertainment! Did you know “Jingle Bells” was originally written to celebrate Thanksgiving, not Christmas?

Kalani Student Volunteers

Students from Kalani High School volunteered at Arcadia! The students worked closely with Irene Baker-Ausby, Clinic Manager, and her team to learn more about our community and providing quality care. Residents are always delighted to engage and interact with the youthful volunteers. Thank you to the students for their hard work and dedication!
