Honored for the Care We Share

The Arcadia Family of Companies is honored to be recognized among the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Hawaii's Best 2026. Arcadia Home Health Services was named Best Home Care Services, while Arcadia Adult Day Care & Day Health Center earned Best Adult Day Care. 15 Craigside and Arcadia were also recognized as finalists for Best Senior Living Facility. These honors reflect the kindness, compassion, and dedication of our team members, who make a meaningful difference in the lives of our kupuna every day. We are grateful to everyone who voted and helped make this recognition possible. Mahalo nui loa to our employees, clients, members, residents, and community for being part of our ohana.

Tranquility at Byodo-In Temple

Arcadia residents enjoyed a peaceful outing to the Byodo-In Temple in Kaneohe, one of Oahu’s most treasured cultural landmarks. Surrounded by the majestic Koolau Mountains, residents explored the tranquil grounds, admired the koi ponds, and rang the temple’s sacred bell.

Remembering Honolulu Stadium

Guest speaker Arthur Suehiro took 15 Craigside residents on a trip down memory lane, sharing photos and stories from his book, Honolulu Stadium: Where Hawaii Played. From 1926 to 1976, the iconic stadium hosted sporting events, boxing matches, stock car racing, and performances by legendary entertainers. The presentation sparked fond memories, and resident Mr. Gene Kaneshiro shared his own collection of stadium memorabilia.

Bricks, Bites & Fun

Arcadia At Home members visited Aloha Bricks at Bishop Museum, where they explored creative LEGO displays and exhibits. The group then had a delicious lunch at Tutu’s Place.

Shakes, Fries, and Smiles

Arcadia Adult Day Care clients stopped by Teddy’s Bigger Burgers for a treat, savoring hand-scooped milkshakes and crispy fries. Since opening near Diamond Head in 1998, Teddy’s has become a local favorite known for its classic diner-style atmosphere.

Confidence Clouds

Residents at Hale Ola Kino by Arcadia created Confidence Clouds by reflecting on the qualities they value most in themselves. They wrote positive affirmations on rainbow-colored craft sticks and attached them to their clouds. The activity encouraged self-reflection and left residents feeling inspired, uplifted, and confident.

Shave Ice Social

Arcadia Health Care Center residents savored rainbow-flavored shave ice and sang karaoke during a fun-filled shave ice party.
