Dining Rooms Reopen at 15 Craigside and Arcadia

On December 6th, the Dining Rooms at 15 Craigside and Arcadia reopened! Residents are very excited to eat with friends in the dining rooms once again. However, COVID safety protocols are still in place to keep everyone safe. Masks are required at all times unless eating or drinking, hand sanitizer is required upon entry and all tables are sanitized after use. Mahalo to all the residents and employees for your diligence, patience and commitment to keeping the communities safe.

Christmas Door Decorating at 15 Craigside

At 15 Craigside, it’s a Snowglobe Christmas! Over the last two weeks, staff have festively decorated their doors for a Christmas door decorating contest. Beginning this week until December 15th, residents are able to vote for their favorite door. The voting categories are: Best Theme—Snowglobe Christmas, Most Represents a Core Value, Most Glamorous, Most Aloha Spirit and Most Environmentally Friendly.

Arcadia Kindness Wall

The Programs team at Arcadia have set up a Kindness Wall in the Main Lounge. Residents and employees are encouraged to light up the season with kindness by writing something nice they experienced or did that day and post it.

Arcadia At Home Visits Resume

Starting December 1st, 15 Craigside and Arcadia reopened to Arcadia At Home members. They can once again access many of the amenities included in their membership such as, the common areas, programs/activities, salon services and the Wellness Center. Arcadia At Home member, Mr. Lee, is shown swimming in the  Arcadia Wellness Center pool. 

Jersey Day

Arcadia Adult Day Care and Day Health clients and employees celebrate Jersey Friday by wearing jerseys from their favorite sports team. Some wore football jerseys from NFL teams like the Vikings and Patriots, while others wore baseball or basketball jerseys. Thank you to the Adult Day Care staff for all of the fun activities you create for the clients!

Handmade Leaf Cards 

15 Craigside residents designed a card using different strips of paper to create a beautiful leaf silhouette. This will surely brighten the recipient’s day with a handwritten message from the heart! Did you know that Hallmark invented the folded card stuffed in an envelope in 1910? With the folded card, people had a larger space to write down all of their thoughts.
