2025 Services of Remembrance
The Arcadia Family of Companies gathered for the Services of Remembrance to honor residents, clients, and members who passed in 2025. Family and friends came together to celebrate the lives and legacies of their loved ones. Rev. Dr. George Scott, along with members of the chaplaincy team, led attendees in prayer, messages of hope, and hymns. The services included a rose presentation, with one yellow rose dedicated to each person remembered—symbolizing friendship, appreciation, and the enduring bond with those we have lost.
Arcadia’s Festive Year-End Performances
Arcadia residents closed out the year with festive, Christmas-themed performances that filled the community with aloha spirit. The resident handbell group’s harmonies rang throughout the lobby, spreading
warmth and cheer. Residents were captivated by the group’s precision, musicality, and energy as familiar holiday tunes inspired smiles and quiet humming.
Adding a different rhythm and flair, the Arcadia resident hula group, formally known as Halau Na Kupuna O Arcadia, which translates to “Arcadia’s elders, a standing spring and source of wisdom,” brought their Christmas-themed hula performance to life. Through graceful movements and expressive storytelling, they highlighted the beauty and cultural depth of hula. Together, these performances captured the heart of the holiday season. Both groups created moments of joy, community, and festive spirit that the Arcadia residents will carry into the new year.

Residents of 15 Craigside rang in the New Year with a traditional Japanese osechi pick-up, enjoying symbolic snacks that represent health, strength, safety, and new beginnings. Sharing osechi is a meaningful way to welcome good fortune and prosperity for the year ahead.
