Honoring Our Veterans

15 Craigside’s Health Care Center marked Veterans Day with a heartfelt ceremony honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. Residents, families, and staff came together to shake hands, share stories, and personally thank each veteran for their dedication.

At Arcadia, residents and Health Care Center residents held their own moving tribute, featuring the Punahou JROTC presenting the colors and service flags, a piano performance by UH Manoa’s Noah Alcantara, and reflections from resident Mr. Walter Ozawa, a retired U.S. Army Colonel, who shared Hawaii’s historic connection to the Korean War.

Both ceremonies offered meaningful moments of remembrance, gratitude, and deep appreciation for the courage of those who served.

Festive Flavors at Na Mea Ono

This month’s Na Mea Ono (The Delicious Place) Cocktail Hour at 15 Craigside featured turkey and cranberry sliders, candied yam and marshmallow tarts, and a prosciutto and brie puff pastry.

Culinary Delights at KCC

Arcadia At Home members visited Ka Ikena Lauae, the Culinary Arts restaurant at Kapiolani Community College known for its delicious Asia Pacific cuisine. With great conversation, bread service, and a three-course meal, members enjoyed a wonderful dining experience together.
