A Mission in Full Bloom

Arcadia held a vibrant plant sale in the Chapel, featuring a beautiful selection of plants from Hale Mea Kanu, a resident-run greenhouse. Organized by residents formally known as the “Friends of the Hale Mea Kanu,” the sale showcased plants lovingly grown and nurtured by residents. Proceeds supported the Arcadia Memorial Irrevocable Trust (AMIT), which helps fund supplemental services at Arcadia’s Health Care Center. AMIT’s mission is to enrich residents’ lives by providing personal and supplemental services beyond basic care. Thanks to efforts like the Hale Mea Kanu plant sale, that mission continues to blossom.

111th Army Band in Concert

The Waihona Winds 111th Army Band performed at both 15 Craigside and Arcadia, delighting residents with a lively concert filled with timeless classics.
